through the lens..

Well this semester I took a photography class. Not that I really got that much out of it...I still have no idea how to work my camera. I'm not really one for paying attention or reading textbooks. But what I did get from the class is that I love photography. So I will most likely be retaking this class. Our final project was a portfolio in which we were allowed to shoot anything of our choosing. I chose to photograph some of my dance friends :) here is what we got.

Last night my girlfriends invited me to go to a bboy dance off. Our good friend Nick was competing so there we were. Super awesome night, I mean there were attractive guys EVERYWHERE! Guys that could dance :) which is always a good quality. I look over by the d jay and there he is Tadd from So You Think You Can Dance! I kid you not, this man is 100 times more attractive in person, which is saying something. My life has been made! He danced for a little bit and then I GOT A PICTURE WITH HIM! :) So because I'm so proud of it, here it is!

Brynn Wilde :) my adopted sister - Brynn is probably the only girl friend that has stayed in my life for more than a couple years. I absolutely adore her. She has put up with all my drama and crazy moods. I know that I can always go to her when I need a shoulder to cry on (and I have done that countless times). She is just so stinking cute! She is the strongest woman I know. She is such a good example to me of how to live a good life. Not to mention, she's easily the  best dressed woman alive. She is selfless and she can always make me smile. My one and only best friend.

the latest and greatest...

Well I skipped my dance class this morning knowing I'd still have to get myself out of bed for my human development class. Getting out of bed was the last thing that I wanted to do, but somehow I did it. Since I didn't go to dance I made myself look cute (this only happens once in a blue moon) I figured maybe it was about that time again. So after taking way longer than necessary getting ready, I got in my car and made the trip to UVU. When I got there I was less than thrilled about the amount of cars crowding every inch of the parking lot. There wasn't even room out in the far parking lot out in NOM. Why might you ask...apparently the state drill competition is more important than student parking. Needless to say it took me forever and twelve days to park. I got up to my class only to find a piece of lined paper informing me that class has been canceled. What a great start to my Friday. 

On a better note it is now officially the weekend!

Sister and boyfriend (Cole)...maybe everyone else can't see it but I think that they truly deserve each other. They are complete goofballs but I wouldn't want it any other way. They have managed to keep their incredible relationship going from opposite sides of the country. If that isn't love I don't know what love is. Hang in there sister. If he's the one it will work out. 

PINK NOTE (a little note to recognize someone special in my life)

Sister- My sister is the most amazing person alive. She has been through hell and back but somehow manages to help me with my countless problems. She never fails to make me smile (though most of the time I'm just laughing my ass off). She is beautiful, thoughtful, selfless, and most of all she's a thug :) which is a very important quality. I know that I can always go to her and she will always love me. Best friends from birth. I love my sister.
